In 2017, I moved to the west coast and started a new role at a small, up and coming marketing agency. The agency had seen success with SEO and PPC management and wanted to expand their capabilities to offer full-funnel marketing and sales support.
As the Inbound Marketing Strategist, my first task was to create a strategy and process for inbound marketing engagements. This included creating a HubSpot onboarding process as well as 90-day roadmaps for new clients.
With my assistance, the agency expanded into several new areas:
- HubSpot Onboarding & Implementation
- Marketing Automation
- Lead Nurturing
- Email Marketing
- Gated Content Offers
When I began my role, we had 0 inbound marketing clients and no documented processes. Within two years, my department was a well-oiled machine and we had climbed to that status of HubSpot Platinum Partners.
I eventually went on to improve our SEO and Content Marketing efforts and the results were dramatically better than under the previous department head. You can read more about here.
